There isn't much we can do when it comes to God's time table. We can be frustrated, impatient, and anxious but in the end though it all means nothing. I have learned that it's best to posture ourselves in a manner that is pleasing to God during seasons of waiting. We can do this by simply asking Him what that looks like for us. Everyone's waiting season doesn't look the same. We are all unique individuals on different paths of life's lessons. Sometimes those lessons aren't being learned, and God has to sit us still so that we can be equipped before He moves us forward.
"Sometimes those lessons aren't being learned, and God has to sit us still so that we can be equipped before He moves us forward."
We often times want to rush ahead not realizing that we are missing out on important insights. God won't allow us to fail before we are even ready, so out of His love for us He keeps us where we need to be until we are ready. During this time it is vital for us to seek Him diligently. We must take the focus off of the goal, and place it back on our creators voice. Sitting still in the waiting is a place of preperation. All the things God has promised us requires preperation. We have to have the characteristics of the person that is worthy to have those things. If we don't it will be an endless cycle of waiting until we've learned the lesson, and applied it to our lives.
