Change is hard, especially when it is something that you are new to. For me personally change has been very hard in this season. I have had to learn to adjust to new ways of doing things, and even letting go of some things. With that it has made me feel very discouraged. It makes me feel like I'm too weak to make the change even though I'm putting forth the effort to do so. It makes me question if the change will happen, because of how hard it feels to achieve it.

"Change is hard, especially when it is something that you are new to."

I've come to realize that even though it's big for me to make these changes I have to embrace making them in small steps. We can sometimes get so built up on just reaching the change not realizing that there is a process we must go through in order to reach those changes. We've been in a cycle of doing one thing and we are now in the process of undoing that cycle by building something different. It's going to take time to tare down and rebuild. This process requires faith and patience. When we practice waiting in expectation accompanied with waiting patiently we gain perserverance.
