You ever have those moments where you just don't have the energy or desire to do anything? I call those moments a slump. Sometimes it's a mental slump a physical slump and even a spiritual slump. I've personally been in all three. I think for me personally when I am in a slump I'm in all three at once. My mental health be at a level 4 my physical be at a complete 0 and my spiritual wellbeing be poor as well. I struggle to think positively to the point it's so hard to think good thoughts and I be struggling mentally so bad that it makes me not want to do anything physically. These moments come without warning and often times we don't even realize that we are in a slump.

"THESE MOMENTS COME WITHOUT WARNING AND OFTEN TIMES WE DON'T EVEN REALIZE THAT WE ARE IN A SLUMP."

I have come to learn that when we have these moments we need to have things set in place so that we can pull ourselves out these slumps. When I say things I mean things that bring you joy make you feel good and things that make you think good thoughts. For me personally that looks like watching my favorite youtuber listening to my favorite podcast or listening to my favorite music playlist. I believe a slump is wave of built up tension stress and even exhaustion. We sometimes are on autopilot and never have enough time to stop and pause. The things we have set in place are our time to breathe. I believe that once we take our moment to pause with the things we have set in place we will come back refreshed rejuvenated and ready to take on life from a healthier place.
