Be Proud Of What You Went Through

There are many things in life I did that I am not proud of. I will say though, that because I went through those situations I am the woman that I am today. Every mistake has turned into a lesson, and as a result it has made me better. And because it has made me better I am proud of the woman that I am today, so that kind of makes me proud of the things that I went through. I know that if I had not gone through what I went through I would not be where I am today. We can sometimes tare ourselves apart about our past, not realizing that our past is what built us into who we are today.

"Our past is what built us into who we are today."

We must learn to live with no regrets, because you cannot go back and change our past. All we can do is choose to move differently going forward, and apply what we learned from what we went through in hopes of living a better life. No a lot of the things we went through weren't good experiences, and yes we could have done things differently, but even with all of that you should not beat yourself up about it. Learn to give yourself some grace for not knowing better, and in the future make it your intention to aim to do better.
