As children of God we know already who we are. I think we confuse figuring out who we are with how we wish to show up in this world. Our idenity is rooted in Christ and we are to reflect every attritbute He carries. Each persons walk with Jesus looks different, so how He requires me to show up may very well look different from how He requires you to show up. We must not look to each other nor figure it out on our own but look to Jesus on how to show up within the world. We achieve this through consistent prayer and alone time with Him.

"Our identity is rooted in Christ and we are to reflect every attribute He carries."

When we understand that our identity and our image are separate from one another we can stop rooting our identity from a place of image. We have to understand that appearance has nothing to do with character. The way you show up in this world has a lot to do with how you maintain who you are on the inside. Your characteristics show you who you are. If you are someone who is unsure of who you are take a look at your characteristics and that will show you who you are.
