LEARN HOW TO BUILD YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Little By Little

Lately I've been struggling so much about my progress within my health, and fitness journey. I feel as though I'm not really progressing in the capacity that I would like. I keep feeling like I'm somehow not doing enough. Even with me knowing that I am giving my best, and working with what I have I still feel like I'm behind. I saw this post on Instagram the other day that said "Get 1% better every day. Over time, small improvements lead to big results." It gave me some relief in that moment, because I was stressing about the little effort that I had been putting in not even realizing that it counted for something.

"Get 1% better every day... Little By Little."

We often times overlook the progress that we are making, because we are so focused on reaching the goal. We obsess over how long it's going to take when we should be embracing the journey. We lose the joy in making progress when we don't see the process properly. I think it's important to remind ourselves that we get better at something slowly, especially if it's something that we are new to doing. I sometimes forget myself that I am new to embracing eating healthier, and incorporating fitness into my life daily. I feel like I somehow need to be where I see others are not realizing that my path is different than theirs. I don't compare myself to them, but I do wish I was where they were. When we have moments like this it's important to remind ourselves that just because we aren't yet where we want to be it doesn't mean we won't get there. As long as we don't stop pursuing our desired goal, and taking the necessary steps to get there we will reach our desired destination.
